How Healing Haven Began
Healing Haven was born when I was facing my dog Nala's second knee surgery. I was worried and felt guilty, like I had failed her. That somehow I could’ve prevented it.
I shared my struggle and asked my community for support— reply with just one word: HEALING.
Dozens of people responded. Most sent just that single word. Some added a heart emoji or "praying for you."
And you know what? That one word from dozens of caring hearts made all the difference.
As I drove Nala to surgery through snow and ice, I kept thinking about all those people sending love and healing to my girl.
I felt held. Supported. Carried through one of those difficult moments as a pet parent.
That's when it hit me: every pet parent deserves this.
So I created Healing Haven—a space where your animal receives healing vibes from caring pet parents, and you receive the reassurance that you're not alone.
